Looking for a volunteer opportunity?  The Friends and the US FWS are sponsoring a Spring Cleaning Day for the entrance to the Laurel Hill Wildlife Drive on the Savannah NWR.

Plans are to trim back vegetation around the entrance, power wash the brick fence pillars, and replace the wooden split rails.  If time permits and enough volunteers show up, we will also do trash pickup and trimming along the drive.

Water and snacks will be provided by the Friends.  Tools and supervision will be provided by the FWS.

Come prepared for mild to moderate physical activity with work clothes, gloves, hats, sun block, and insect repellent.

If you can't make it right at 10, or if you need to leave before 2, no problem.  Any amount of help is appreciated.

If you plan to help out with this project, please register in the box on the left.

Please consider donating to the Friends!
