Wilderness Southeast A non-profit educational organization based in Savannah that organizes tours and other activities emphasizing appreciation of the unique natural communities that surround us. Water-Dog Outfitters Based on Hilton Head Island, this group charters numerous outdoor adventures, including tours of Pinckney Island NWR. They schedule activities at Pinckney during National Wildlife Refuge Week and donate a portion of the proceeds to FSCWR, Inc. Coastal Conservation League: Mission: to protect the natural environment of the South Carolina coastal plain and to enhance the quality of life of our communities by working with individuals, businesses and government to ensure balanced solutions. Friends of Hunting Island State Park: A friends group for the park near St. Helena Island, SC. Clean Coast performs clean-ups on local rivers and beaches. The Savannah Riverkeeper's mission is to protect the water quality of the Savannah River, the integrity of its watershed and to promote an enlightened stewardship of this unique heritage.
